How do I Apply?

ITS EASY TO APPLY! Read the Terms of the Sponsorship Program and complete the Application Form

1. ELIGIBILITY Applicants must:

  1. Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.
  2. Possess a valid South African ID.
  3. Be literate in English.
  4. Have access to the internet.
  5. Have their own means of transportation.

2. SPONSORSHIP COVERAGE The sponsorship will cover 50% of the Multi-Rotor Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) cost. This includes:

  1. Theory course,
  2. Theory course exam (first attempt),
  3. Flight training, and
  4. SACAA Designated Remote Examiner (DRE) skills test.

3. EXCLUSIONS The sponsorship does not cover:

  1. Class 3 aviation medical certificate.
  2. English Language Proficiency test.
  3. Re-writing failed exams.
  4. Restricted Radio License examiner fee.
  5. SACAA Application submission fees.

4. APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Applicants must complete and submit the official sponsorship application form below.
  2. All applications must be submitted by the specified deadline. (31st December 2023)
  3. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

5. SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Selection of sponsorship recipients will be at the discretion of ProWings Training.

  2. Recipients will be notified within 24hrs after the application form is submitted, whether successful or not. 
  3. All Eligibility requirements must be met.

6. AWARD NOTIFICATION

  1. Successful applicants will be notified of their sponsorship via email.

  2. A link to the Sponsorship Course will be provided that can be paid via EFT or our Secure Online Payment Gateway
  3. Get Immediate access to the Online Theory Course after a successful application and payment is received.

7. SPONSORSHIP OBLIGATIONS

  1. Recipients must use the sponsorship for the intended purpose (Remote Pilot Certificate).

  2. Recipients are expected to maintain a certain level of academic performance and behaviour throughout the program.

  3. Recipients may be required to provide progress updates periodically.

8. TERMINATION OF SPONSORSHIP

  • ProWings Training reserves the right to terminate the sponsorship if recipients do not meet the specified obligations.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

  • ProWings Training reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

10. AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE

  • By accepting the sponsorship, recipients agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
