This course consists of three phases:

1. Theory Course
2. Flight Training
3. Skills Test

1. Theory Course

• This course covers a refresher of all aviation-related subjects to provide you with sufficient knowledge for your RPC Renewal.

2. Flight Training

3. Skills Test

The skills test is conducted by an approved SACAA designated examiner (DRE). The skills test consists of two parts: a ground evaluation and a practical flying part. During the ground evaluation, the designated examiner will test your theoretical RPC knowledge, and during the practical flying, your flying abilities will be tested. You need to successfully complete both parts to renew your remote pilot certificate.

SACAA Requirements – Please note that you are responsible for obtaining the following before or during your RPC training:

• Restricted Radio Telephony License
• English Language Proficiency Certificate
• Aviation Medical Class III
